THE AFL Barwon Tribunal won’t hear any senior cases on Tuesday night after Colac ruckman Lochie Veale and Geelong Amateur spearhead Mitch Day both accepted two-week set penalties offered by the Match Review Panel.

Veale was cited for rough conduct on Leopold’s Matt Gun in the Tigers’ win over the Lions at Leopold Community Bank Oval on Saturday.

It has ruled the veteran out of representing Vic Country again with the second match of his suspension falling on the weekend of the clash with the VAFA.

Day, who has kicked 41 goals in 2019, was charged with intentionally striking Torquay’s Sam Wormald in Ammos’ victory against the Tigers at KFC Oval on Sunday.

He will miss match-ups with Newcomb and Ocean Grove either side of the mid-season bye in early July.

Veale and Day join St Mary’s defender Ryley Hall and Inverleigh midfielder Toby Manganelli in taking the two weeks offered by the MRP.
