GROVEDALE has landed one of the BFL’s best talents with the signing of Dale Kerr from Anglesea.

The 25-year-old joins the Tigers after 119 games and 62 goals with the Roos, where he claimed this year’s best-and-fairest and was named in the BFL Team of the Year.

A regular interleague representative, Kerr was also a Team of the Year member in 2016 and took out Anglesea’s best-and-fairest in 2019.

With the ability to play at both ends of the ground and in the midfield, Kerr looms as a versatile addition for Tigers’ coach Daniel Fraser.

He is the second recruit from the BFL this off-season for Grovedale, having previously announced the arrival of Barwon Heads premiership player and Geelong Falcon Charlie Brauer.

The Tigers have been the GFL destination of choice for a number of Anglesea players in the past decade, with the likes of Ash Caldwell, Tom Leeds and Dyson Bell-Warren turning out in yellow and black.

While in recent years, the Roos have benefitted from the arrival of Jordan Erskine, Marcus Smith and Jordan Harrison at Ellitmatta Reserve.
