BANNOCKBURN’S loss to archrival Inverleigh has been further soured with big man Blake Miller offered a three-week suspension for an incident in Saturday’s clash at Victoria Park.

Following a request from the Hawks, the AFL Barwon match review panel looked at the footage and found Miller to have intentionally struck Daniel Grozdanovski.

If Miller accepts, he will miss games against Corio, Geelong West and Anakie.

Corio forward Dylan Shelley faces a fortnight on the sidelines after being cited for rough conduct on Winchelsea’s Ethan Floyd during the third quarter of Saturday’s loss at Eastern Reserve.

The MRP viewed footage at the request of the officiating umpires and offered the Devils’ leading goalkicker a two-match ban.

Miller and Shelley have until 10am Tuesday to either accept or challenge their penalty.

There was better news for Geelong Amateur ruck Guy Hardiman and Drysdale veteran Mitch Scott.

The MRP withdrew Hardiman’s match day report for striking Queenscliff’s Brayden Warren due to insufficient contact.

While Scott had no case to answer over a tackle he laid on Barwon Heads’ Sam Evans.
