Early signs good for Centrals

WERRIBEE Centrals appears set to avoid a COVID bullet following the testing of around 50 players and staff who were at training last Tuesday.

As krockfootball.com.au revealed on Saturday night, a Centurion who was at Galvin Park on the same night returned a positive result to a test conducted on Thursday after he developed symptoms on Wednesday.

The club says of the almost 40 players and staff tested, all have returned a negative result.

However, the club is still waiting to find out if it will be classified as an exposure site, and if it is, whether it’s Tier 1 or Tier 2.

If it were Tier 1, those players and staff would be forced into isolation for 14 days, creating issues if the GDFL season was to resume this weekend.
