WERRIBEE Centrals duo Nathan Johnson and James Gough will face the AFL Barwon Tribunal on Wednesday night after electing to challenge their set penalties.

The AFL Barwon Match Review Panel offered Johnson a three-match suspension for striking Bannockburn midfielder Matt James during Saturday’s clash at Galvin Park.

Fellow key forward Gough will look to overturn a two-match ban for rough conduct on Tiger Will Middleton.

However, teammate Zac Anthony has accepted his two-match suspension for rough conduct on Jack Henderson.

Also accepting suspensions were Leopold’s Mitch Patten’s three weeks for rough conduct on Lara’s Matt Spence and Anglesea’s Jordan Harrison for a dangerous tackle on Portarlington’s Stan Hogan.

Modewarre’s Adam Boshevski had already accepted a one-week set penalty for rough conduct on Torquay’s Baxter Mensch.
