Dockers to follow Pies for Cats

GEELONG will face Fremantle off an 11-day break in Round 8 of the AFL season.

The Cats, who play Collingwood this Thursday, won’t play the Dockers until Monday, July 27.

The Magpies will meet West Coast the previous day.

The lengthy gap between matches will allow both Geelong and Collingwood to meet quarantine requirements before playing the Western Australian clubs.

Round 8 will open with the much-improved Gold Coast hosting the Western Bulldogs.
