GFL-aligned Werribee duo Jack Henderson and Darcy Bennett have become the latest local players to take their talents interstate.

Henderson (St Mary’s) and Bennett (Lara) have joined SANFL club Sturt and will make their first appearances for the Double Blues this weekend after serving the mandatory two-week isolation in South Australia.

Both had re-signed with Werribee for the 2020 season before the impact of COVID-19 eventually caused the cancellation of the season.
