Winchelsea (6th) vs. Bell Post Hill (2nd)

Eastern Reserve

Saturday, April 29, 7:10pm

BELL Post Hill has given Winchelsea a not-too-subtle reminder of what’s needed to compete with the GDFL’s best after handing out a 167-point hiding.

The Panthers dazzled under the Eastern Reserve lights, kicking 10 goals in both the third and final quarters.

Jayden Ettridge was the star with nine goals, while Justin Tarr, in his first game for the season, and Nick Costello both contributed five.

David Tucker worked hard for his three goals for the Blues, while Jackson Smith and Alex Gubbins both kicked two.

Byron Mathison, Jackson Thomas and Bailey Kahle were best for Winchelsea, which now faces a crucial clash with East Geelong.
