VIC Country duty, illness and injury have contributed to the Geelong Falcons making seven changes for Sunday’s NAB League Boys clash with the Murray Bushrangers at Werribee’s Avalon Airport Oval.
Three Falcons that appeared in last week’s win over the Calder Cannons – captain Jhye Clark, ruck Oli Northam and midfielder Ted Clohesy – will head to Adelaide for Vic Country’s clash with South Australia on Sunday.
Michael Rudd, Tobyn Murray, Tom Bartlett and Tadhg Evans will also be missing.
Archie Sinnott, Cooper Hayes, Tom Peirce, Jai McGough, Mal White, Tom Burke and Mackenzie Butcher have been included, with a number returning from school football commitments.
Rob Condy take charge of the Falcons, with Paul Corrigan overseeing the fortunes of Vic Country.
A win is crucial to the Falcons’ hopes of finishing in the top three and avoiding the wildcard weekend.
