EIGHT boys and three girls from the Geelong Falcons have earned invites to this year’s Victorian AFL and AFLW draft combines.

Tanner Bruhn, Cam Fleeton, Noah Gribble, Charlie Ham, Oliver Henry, Charlie Lazzaro, Blake Reid and Henry Walsh are among 96 males that will get the chance to impress following the cancellation of the NAB League season.

Ham (Brayden – Essendon), Henry (Jack – Geelong) and Walsh (Sam – Carlton) are looking to join their brothers on AFL lists.

Gribble would have missed the 2020 season after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament late last year.

Captain Darcy Moloney, Laura Gardiner and Carly Remmos are among the 82 females invited.

The Geelong Falcons played two games before the NAB League Girls season was shutdown.

Former Falcon Luka Lesosky-Hay, who was due to play VFLW with Richmond this year, is also on the list of invitees.

“The NAB Draft Combine sees the best young footballers from across Australia gather to showcase their physical abilities in front of club recruiters,” AFL Talent Ambassador Kevin Sheehan said.

“The 2020 version of the NAB Draft Combine will look a little different, but it will provide all AFLW and AFL Clubs a chance to assess players on their fitness, skills and agility. Clubs are able to conduct one-on-one interviews with all players at the Draft Combine either in person or digitally.”

To receive an invite, each player had to be nominated by at least three AFL clubs.

The date for the Victorian combines is yet to be set.
