DEBUTANT Harry Ling is among three inclusions for St Mary’s ahead of this afternoon’s potential qualifying final preview against Bell Park.

The Saints also named Jack Blood after a stint as 23rd man with Geelong VFL, while Paddy Killen has been recalled after consecutive four-goal games in reserves.

Big man Trent McMullan has been called up by the Cats, Tom Lang will miss through injury, while Sam Hosking has been dropped.

Ling, who has also played six games with the Geelong Falcons in 2017, is another product of St Mary’s Auskick.

“When you play Auskick, then go on and on through the grades, and now finally an opportunity to play seniors, it’s like a dream come true,” he told krockfootball.com.au

How Ling, whose twin brother Matt is also at the Falcons, found out Saints coach Troy Mitchell was keen to play him against the Dragons in unique circumstances.

“His son (Logan) asked me if I wanted to play seniors this week, and I said “yeah, sounds gound”, Ling said.

“He called me up that night and said “if you want to play, I’ll have you in the team.

“I came and trained on Thursday night with the seniors and it was pretty good.”

Meanwhile, Bell Park has settled on just the one change, with Matt Ianelli replacing Nick Swain.
