OUTGOING St Joseph’s coach Heath Jamieson hasn’t ruled taking a year off to recharge his batteries, while at the same time confirming he has had meetings with clubs in the Geelong region about his plans for 2019.

Jamieson, who stepped down after six years in charge following Joeys’ third grand final win in four years on Saturday, revealed on K rock’s The Wash-Up he’d spoken “with a couple of clubs”.

GFL: WILL FLAG CAP IT OFF FOR BEN?

“One thing I’ve always said, if someone’s happy to call, I’m happy to take that call and have a chat with them,” he said.

“I’ve spoken with a couple of clubs that I won’t be coaching next year, but it was good to catch up with them and pass on a bit of knowledge both ways.

“The couple of clubs I’ve caught up with, I’m still in communication with now about next year, and they’re asking me questions about what they should do.

“So, I’m happy to have that relationship with people.

“But, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
