REIGNING GFL premier St Joseph’s will continue its partnership with Signature Homes until at least the end of 2020 after the local builder committed to a further three years as major sponsor.

While not in the same stratosphere of Geelong’s connection with Ford, which is now at 93 years, Joeys believes it to be one of the longest-running in local sport having started back in 2006.

“It started with my son playing at the club,” Signature Homes founder Gary Watts said.

“He’s moved on, but we’re still here. (They’re) a great club.”

Vice-president Rob Threlfall said Joeys was grateful for the support.

“It’s very important for us,” he said. “Gary and Gilda are great people, it’s a great company, and it’s a good brand association for the Club and Signature Homes to continue on.

“It shows stability and should give confidence the Club’s moving forward well.”
