LEOPOLD will be without impressive off-season acquisition Luke Justin for two games after he chose not to challenge a set penalty for an incident that left Geelong West’s Nick Wood concussed.

Justin, from Warrnambool and District League club Kolora-Noorat, made contact with Wood in the opening quarter of the Lions’ win over the Giants at West Oval on Sunday.

Following a request from umpires, the AFL Barwon Match Review Panel viewed footage of the incident and found that Justin made high contact after choosing to bump Wood.

He will miss the crucial clash with Newtown & Chilwell following the bye and the match-up against St Albans the following week.

Meanwhile, Supersaint Bailey Brogden accepted his one-week suspension for a sling tackle on St Mary’s captain Jack Blood in losing to the Saints at The Gordon TAFE Oval on Saturday.

He will miss St Albans’ clash with Bell Park in Round 13.
