DELISTED Geelong key position player Ryan Gardner has nominated Bell Park as his interchange club for 2019 after joining Footscray’s VFL team.

The Tasmanian, who was let go by the Cats after failing to play an AFL match in three years at GMHBA Stadium, started life as a defender before being moved forward in 2018.

He played 52 VFL games for Geelong, including 20 this year, finishing with 20 goals.

Gardner is one of three signings announced this week by the Dragons, with former juniors Jono Arcoraci and Boe Collins returning from North Shore.

Arcoraci played 41 senior games with the Seagulls after crossing from Hamlyn Park in 2016, while Collins brought up his 50th GFL senior game in the final round of the 2018 season.
