STAR South Barwon forward Brett Blair has been offered a one-week suspension by the AFL Barwon Match Review for striking St Albans youngster Bailey Brogden in Saturday’s win at McDonald Reserve.

Blair, who was cited for an alleged incident during the final quarter, has until 10am Tuesday to decide whether to challenge the offer at the AFL Barwon Tribunal.

If he accepts the ban, he will miss Saturday’s John Nankervis Shield clash with Grovedale.

Meanwhile, St Mary’s skipper Jacob Welsh is in the clear after the vision of an alleged headbutt on St Joseph’s big man Josh Hovey during Saturday night’s clash at Anthony Costa Oval was deemed inconclusive.

Leopold gun Tom Ruggles also has no case to answer after the MRP looked at the vision of an alleged incident with Colac’s Kody Spokes at Central Reserve.

There were no incidents reviewed from the BFL or GDFL.
