LESS than a week after former Ocean Grove teammate Andrew Jarvis joined the club, Pete Hardy has become the latest player to move from the Grubbers to Thomson.

The Tigers confirmed on Thursday afternoon the addition of the former Port Adelaide rookie, along with the return of Callum Stephens and 2018 premiership player Jake Alderding.

Stephens last played with Thomson in 2017 before heading overseas, while Alderding had planned to play with Drysdale in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.

A Leopold junior, Hardy was taken in the 2007 Rookie Draft by the Power but failed to play an AFL match for the club.

The 32-year-old returned to the Lions in 2010 for two seasons before crossing to South Barwon for three years, where he played in the 2012 and 2013 premiership wins, including alongside Thomson co-coach Jarrod Westwood in 2012.

Hardy then joined BFL club Anglesea ahead of the 2015 season, spending two years at Alcoa Oval.

He arrived at Ocean Grove ahead of the 2017 season and played 39 games in the red and white, including alongside star Thomson midfielder Brent Macleod.
