WINCHELSEA will be without key forward Will Ford for Saturday’s clash with Anakie after he was suspended by the AFL Barwon Tribunal for one week for a high bump on Geelong West’s Paddy Lowery.

Ford, whose hearing was postponed to allow him to represent the GDFL in last week’s interleague clash with the Bellarine, was reported and received a yellow card in the Blues’ draw with the Giants.

He pleaded guilty to the charge at Tuesday night’s hearing.

Ford has kicked 19 goals in the opening five rounds to sit second on the GDFL goal kicking table, just two majors behind Thomson’s Daniel Freeman.

Meanwhile, Newcomb’s Cory Ogle has accepted a two-week set penalty for a sling tackle on Torquay veteran Roscoe Holmes.

It means the Power will be without Ogle for clashes with Barwon Heads and Drysdale.
