BARWON Heads veteran Matt Dyer has been offered a one-week suspension by the AFL Barwon Match Review Panel after being cited for an incident in the Easter Saturday win over Drysdale.

The 2018 Ash medallist has been charged with rough conduct on Hawks’ skipper Mitch McGuire during the third quarter of the clash at Howard Harmer Oval.

The MRP was asked to review vision of the incident by Drysdale.

Dyer has until 10am Wednesday to either accept the ban or challenge it at the AFL Barwon Tribunal.

If he accepts, he will miss Saturday’s trip to Anglesea.

In other incidents assessed by the MRP;

Geelong Amateur’s Will Kelly has no case to answer after making late contact on Queenscliff’s Nathan Monk in the final quarter of Ammos’ win over the Coutas.

The MRP says the contact was not deemed to constitute a reportable offence.

And Modewarre’s Ollie Butler is also in the clear after Anglesea asked the MRP to review footage of contact with Roos newcomer Lewis Beers in the first quarter of Saturday night’s clash at Community Bank Oval.

The MRP deemed contact to be made through both players’ momentum after Butler jumped into the air to smother a kick.
