GEELONG Amateur has farewelled star midfielder Bradley King.

The two-time premiership player has joined Colac and District league club Apollo Bay along with former St Joseph’s captain David Fawkes.

A Joeys junior, who spent several years in GFL senior ranks, King arrived at Queen’s Park in 2014 and was part of Ammos’ grand final win over Ocean Grove.

He returned across the Barwon River in 2015 and played in a reserve grade premiership alongside brothers David and Michael.

King headed back to Geelong Amateur in 2016 and was best-on-ground as it completed a hat-trick of flags in beating Modewarre.

He is the second experienced off-season departure from KFC Oval, with spearhead Mitch Day returning to Lara.

However, those losses have been off-set by the arrival of St Mary’s duo Zak Sherman and Jordy Duncan and the return of Anthony Fagan and Bevan Shelley.
