TORQUAY has further strengthened its forward stocks with the return of Isaac Baker to McCartney Oval.

Last year’s BFL runner-up announced late last year the arrival of Lucas Anderson from GFL powerhouse St Joseph’s.

Baker and Anderson in the same forward line as the likes of Cal Currie, Jack Heathcote and Paul McMahon is likely to cause headaches for most BFL defences.

Baker has spent the last three years with Buninyong in the Central Highlands league.

In 47 games he kicked 89 goals for the Bombers, including 47 majors in 2018, earning him selection at full-forward in the CHFL Team of the Year.

Baker last played at senior level at Torquay across 2014-15. He kicked 108 goals in 29 games for the Tigers, helping them to the 2015 grand final.

That followed a stint at South Barwon, which yielded a premiership in 2012.
