GEELONG young gun Jordan Clark won’t play again in 2019 after undergoing surgery on his elbow.

The 19-year-old first suffered the injury in training on August 6 and returned in the Cats’ VFL elimination final on August 31.

However, he suffered a recurrence in Geelong’s loss to Port Melbourne, with the decision made last week for the West Australian to go under the knife.

Drafted with pick No.15 from WAFL club Claremont, Clark managed 18 matches in his debut season and earned a Rising Star nomination in Round 15.
