VETERAN defender Harry Taylor looks set to return for Geelong’s crucial clash with the much-improved Gold Coast on Saturday.

Taylor, who was managed out of the win over Melbourne, looms as the likely replacement for Tom Stewart, after the All-Australian defender suffered a fractured collarbone in the win over the Demons.

“That’s probably the obvious one (change),” coach Chris Scott said.

“I spoke about Lachie Henderson in response to a question post-game as well. He’s doing everything he can.

“It’s hard to judge training form compared to AFL games.

“But the match practice that we’ve had at the lower levels has left us with a really enthusiastic mindset as to the potential ins, not only this week but the next couple of weeks as well.

“I could individualise, but it would be the wrong thing to do because there’s been a really big group of guy that have played well – young and old.”
