Soggy Moggies

GEELONG players were greeted by persistent rain for their final pre-season session at Deakin University’s Elite Sports Precinct.

The majority of the list hit the track, however Patrick Dangerfield was again a notable absentee, as the Cats went through a range of competitive drills in rare wet conditions.

Also missing were defender Lachie Henderson (knee) and draftee Charlie Constable (tonsils).

Quinton Narkle, Stewart Crameri, Linc McCarthy and Timm House worked away from the main group, while first-year forward Gryan Miers ran laps.

Scott Selwood and Jed Bews were both early departures from training.

The Cats have been unable to train on GMHBA Stadium due to cricket and soccer commitments, but will return next week to their traditional home, with an open session scheduled for Tuesday.
