At Selection – Round 22

GEELONG will back in Mark Blicavs and Esava Ratugolea to do the ruck work in Saturday top-of-the-table clash with the Brisbane Lions after deciding against recalling either Rhys Stanley or Zac Smith.

The Cats have settled on one change for the match at the Gabba, with Mark O’Connor returning from a toe injury that kept him out of the games against Fremantle and North Melbourne at the expense of Sam Menegola.

Menegola, Stanley, Scott Selwood and James Parsons are Geelong’s emergencies.

Stanley hasn’t played since being dropped for Smith ahead of the clash with Sydney Swans in Round 19.

Smith played against the Swans and Dockers but was a late withdrawal from the win over the Roos.

The Lions, who have strung together eight consecutive wins, have made no change to the team that hammered Gold Coast by 91 points last week.

K rock is live from 12pm on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast, and via AFL.com.au or the AFL app.
