At Selection – Round 10

GEELONG has rested four players, while skipper Joel Selwood and ruck Rhys Stanley will return, among five changes for Wednesday night’s clash with North Melbourne at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Big man Esava Ratugolea, midfielder Brandan Parfitt, forward Gary Rohan and defender Jake Kolodjashnij, who sits on 99 games, have all been rested.

They join youngster Charlie Constable (concussion) in going out of the team that lost to West Coast on Saturday night.

As well as Selwood and Stanley, Tom Atkins, Jack Steven and Zach Guthrie have been named.

Selwood last played against Collingwood in Round 7, Stanley’s been sidelined since injuring a knee against Carlton in Round 3, while Atkins most recent appearance was against Melbourne in Round 4, where he suffered damage to his ribs.

Steven missed the clashes with Fremantle and the Eagles, while Guthrie was last seen in Round 1 against GWS.

After being dropped for the win over Adelaide, Ben Brown and Jared Polec return, with the inexperienced Will Walker and debutant Lachlan Hosie also named.

Curtis Taylor is out with a knee injury, while Kyron Hayden, Luke Davies-Uniacke and Nick Larkey have been managed.

K rock is live from 4pm on FM 95.5 across Geelong and the Surf Coast, or via AFL.com.au and the AFL app.
