PATRICK Dangerfield has undergone scans on the hamstring he injured in Sunday’s JLT Series loss to Essendon, but we won’t know until tomorrow how bad the damage is.

Geelong’s medical staff are expected to review the scans tonight, with the club to provide an update in the morning.

The star midfielder faced the media outside GMHBA Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, but couldn’t provide much clarity around the seriousness of the injury.

“To be honest, the results of the scan could take a few hours before they get back to our docs,” Dangerfield said.

“Guess what? You’ve still got to wait.”
