GEELONG looks set to be without Tom Hawkins for Saturday night’s blockbuster clash with West Coast at Optus Stadium after he was offered a one-match suspension by the Match Review Officer.

Hawkins was charged with striking Fremantle’s Luke Ryan, with the incident assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

It is the second time the 32-year-old forward has been suspended in nine matches.

Hawkins infamously missed the Cats’ preliminary final loss to Richmond in 2019 after being banned for striking Eagle Will Schofield the previous week.

Teammate Jake Kolodjashnij escaped with a $1000 fine for a dangerous tackle on Dockers star Michael Walters.

Meanwhile, West Coast midfielder Elliot Yeo will line-up against Geelong after successfully challenging his one-week suspension for striking Collingwood’s Rupert Wills

Brisbane Lions forward Daniel McStay has accepted his two-match ban for making forceful front-on contact with Melbourne’s Neville Jatta.

And Essendon’s Kyle Langford will miss Friday night’s clash with the Lions after he was offered one-game suspension for front-on contact with Adelaide’s Shane McAdam.
