GEELONG has been forced into a late change ahead of Saturday’s twilight clash with the Western Bulldogs at GMHBA Stadium, with Tom Atkins pulling out of the side.

The rookie small forward has succumbed to a hip issue that caused him problems in last week’s win over North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.

Selected with pick No.11 in the Rookie Draft, Atkins has played every game since debuting in Round 1.

Atkins will be replaced by Charlie Constable, who was left out of the team on Thursday despite racking up 27 possessions after being a late inclusion against the Roos.

Sam Simpson has been added to the emergencies list.

Tom Atkins will join the K rock team at 3:30pm ahead of the Cats-Dogs clash.
